Power factor correction circuit for use as e.g. active power factor correction filter for reducing distributed harmonics in power supply device, has switching groups connected with each other in series by inter-connector
The circuit has an intermediate circuit (17) including intermediate circuit capacitors (C1, C2) that are provided with intermediate circle liners (19). Switching elements (S1, S2) and diodes (D1, D2) are coupled with each other, where the switching elements form switching groups (13, 14) that are connected with each other in series by a switching group inter-connector (16). A zero-conductor (12) of an alternating current input (E1) is connected with a nodal point (18) of the intermediate circle liners, and a phase conductor (11) is connected with a nodal point (15) of the inter-connector. An independent claim is also included for a power supply device for converting alternating current into direct current.
