The holder (1) has a contact bush (4) and an O-ring (6), which are formed as contact electrodes for directly contacting respective lens electrodes (201, 202) of a liquid lens (2) with an electronics element of a dental camera when the liquid lens is inserted into the holder. The contact bush is partially made of conductive material and provided in direct contact with the respective lens electrode. The O-ring is made of elastomer e.g. silicone, containing conductive particles e.g. metal particles and graphite particles. The elastomer is covered by metal braided fabric. An independent claim is also included for a dental camera.
