The connecting rod arrangement (1) comprises a connecting rod and an eccentric unit (4) that is operatively connected to the connecting rod in an hydraulic manner for adjusting the connecting rod length (l-eff) of the connecting rod arrangement. A changeover valve (18) is provided, which is adapted to control the displacement direction of the eccentric unit. A changeover valve reset unit (28) shifts the changeover valve by an actuating pulse (I) or a pressure pulse from one switching state to another switching state. The changeover valve reset unit has a hydraulic connection (29) for connecting a changeover valve reset tool and a hydraulic conduit (32), which fluidically connects the hydraulic connection with a hydraulic fluid reservoir (25) of the changeover valve in an operating manner. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle; and (2) a method for shifting a changeover valve of a connecting rod.
