An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for carrying out the above method, comprising: a holding device for accommodating the workpiece; a temperature varying device that is operatively connected with the workpiece, for generating the temperature profile in the workpiece; and a profile-forming mold (3), which is the linearly moved relative to the workpiece to generate a profile at the workpiece.
