The rotor blade has two rotor blades connected with each other, where the rotor blades are made of continuous-fiber or textile-reinforced thermoplastic. The rotor blades are formed as a shell structure, and are designed such that a line connecting the half-shells faces directly along the air flow. The rotor blade shell structure is designed for passing an air flow away from edges. The rotor blades are made of textile reinforced fiber and a matrix made of polypropylene or polyamide. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a rotor blade.
