Method for controlling lifting gear of e.g. tractor, involves setting adaptation of working height of plow according to relationship between root mean square current, torque and defined upper torque limit
The lifting gear (2) for lifting a plow (3) is positioned at desired height level by a hoist control unit (7). The hoist control unit is connected with a vehicle control unit (9) through CANbus (8) so as to acquire vehicle parameter such as root mean square current, torque and upper torque limit. The adaptation of working height of plow is set according to a relationship between acquired root mean square current, detected torque and defined upper torque limit. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) agricultural or municipal utility vehicle; and (2) computer program product for controlling lifting gear of agricultural or municipal utility vehicle.
