The method involves providing an additive that is selected from the group of cross-linking agent, a blowing agent and a reactive component by using a wide slot tool (4). The wide slot tool has a lower and an upper tool mold halves (5,6). The tool mold halves are held together in the extrusion over electric- or permanent magnets. An independent claim is included for a device for executing a web extrusion method.
