The method involves sealing damaged area (3) of component (1) by locating suction cup (5). An evacuation of the air is performed to inject monomer of thermoplastic matrix in damaged area of component. The damaged area is heated by heater (6,20) so that thermoplastic matrix of fiber composite material of component is heated to the extent to apply the original thermoplastic resin matrix on the applied monomer and on deposited additive (14).
