The anchor bolt (3) has an expansion body (7) which is arranged coaxially with respect to an axis (4), where a circumferential surface (20) of the expansion body has ribs (30) and grooves (31) in an alternating manner in the circumferential direction. Top surfaces of the ribs diverge from the axis in a direction (8) along the axis. Bottom surfaces of the grooves converge in the direction of the axis.
