The device (21) has a cleaning unit (23) extended over entire breadth of a conveying belt (13), where the unit lies or is pressed at the belt. The cleaning unit is formed as an elongate continuous profile made of a flexible material e.g. silicone material and/or silicon rubber, with a constant cross-section in a longitudinal direction. The profile comprises a distant cleaning lip (25a) for contact at the belt. A longitudinal channel (29c) is provided in the longitudinal direction of the profile and is formed by embedded hoses. The lip comprises a contact surface with breadth of 1 cm.
