The gear box (1) has threaded spindle (4) and spindle nut (6) which are provided with a screw thread (3). A wrap spring (9) having coil spring and machine portions is provided between the screw thread and frame element (2). The coil spring is provided in frictional engagement with the machine portions. A static friction is set between the machine portions and frame element such that the relative rotation of the machine portions with respect to frame element is enabled corresponding to limit rotational torque. An independent claim is included for actuator.
