Producing dimensionally accurate sintered bodies made of at least one base material, comprises (a) mixing at least a first particle (2) comprising base material and a process agent (6) comprising a material other than the base material, with a curable, liquid binding material (8), (b) forming a green body (10) from the mixture such that the process agent is present in the spaces between the particles of the base material, (c) partially curing the binding material, and (d) sintering the green body to produce a brown body (12). An independent claim is also included for a product produced by the above method.
