The instrument has a detection device for detecting measured values (2) of the testing signal. The analog-to-digital converter is connected with the histogram generating unit which is connected with the display device. The histogram generating unit is provided for generating a histogram of the measured values of signal such that the generated histogram is displayed in display device.
