The pump (11) has a pump housing (13), a pump rotor (15) that is rotated in the pump housing, a pump motor (20) with a motor shaft (22) for the pump rotor. The pump rotor runs in axial direction near to the pump housing in area-wise manner. The pump rotor is mounted in the axial direction towards the pump housing with a circumferential slide ring disk (26,28) in circular ring shape. The slide ring disk has a channel-like recess at a sliding surface. The channel-like recess crosses the width of the slide ring disk or the slide surface.
