The electric machine (1) has rotor comprising several conductor segments (3), and a commutator (4). Several sliding brushes are arranged on pair of resistive layers (7,8) along rotational direction of the commutator, and the resistive layers are provided with different resistance values. The resistivity of the resistive layer (7) in the front side along the rotation direction (6) is larger than resistivity in the back side of resistive layer (8) along rotation direction.
