The device (1) has a support plate (2) and a support element (4) that are held at a housing body (7), which is embedded with a lens system (8) on a lighting side for generation of a diverging radiation beam (10) illuminating a limited surface. A support (6) is attached at the support element. A sensor (12) measures light intensity present in the radiation beam, and is connected with a measuring- and control unit (14). LEDs (3) utilized in the support plate are activatable by the measuring- and control unit with the decreasing light intensity that is determined by the sensor. The support element and the housing body are made of a warm-conductive material.
