The bearing (3) has an outer bearing ring (5), and an inner bearing ring (4) concentrically enclosed by the outer ring. Balls (6) form a rolling body arranged between the rings. The outer ring is formed by a tube, and a tube denting (13) is divided into two bevel surfaces (14) by the tube. The inner ring is formed by a tube whose outer contour has the form of W extending in a direction of a symmetrical axis (S), where the contour runs parallel to the axis. Grooves are formed in the bearing rings for fixing the balls, and the inner ring is connected with a flanged socket. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a bearing ring.
