The operating system (62) has a valve housing (45) in which a locking piston (46) is moved between closed and open positions for closing and opening an overflow valve respectively. A valve spring (52) is connected with locking piston for applying the pressure force to locking piston so as to move the locking piston between closed and open positions. A measuring piston (53) is moved in measuring housing (38) between closing and open positions for closing and opening the measuring unit (37) respectively. The valve housing and measuring housing are formed integrally. An independent claim is included for a high pressure injection system for combustion engine.
