The arrangement has a foot switch (11) for producing a signal (1) as soon as pressure on the switch exceeds an activation threshold value. Another signal (2) is produced during detection that the pressure falls below the value. A microprocessor (21) i.e. processor of personal computer, releases an action associated to the switch during reception of the former signal and controls an output unit (50) e.g. loudspeaker, for outputting information e.g. audio signal, to a user during reception of the latter signal. The information is identity, which displays the action or an effect of the switch.
