Method for controlling charging process for wireless transfer of electromagnetic energy in e.g. passenger car, involves stopping execution of charging process if no data is transmitted from vehicle to charging station
Method for controlling charging process for wireless transfer of electromagnetic energy in e.g. passenger car, involves stopping execution of charging process if no data is transmitted from vehicle to charging station
The method involves transmitting data from a charging station (2) to a vehicle (3), and storing the data in the vehicle, where the data comprises a set of values, accepted values and accepted range of values. Another data relating to a charging process is transmitted from the vehicle to the station. The charging process is carried out in response to the latter data, and execution of the charging process is stopped if no data is transmitted from the vehicle to the station. The accepted values and the accepted ranges are changed based on a current parameter e.g. planned route of a vehicle. The set of values is selected from a group consisting of an identity of a provider of energy from the charging station to a storage device, a source of energy, cost for transferring energy from the charging station to the storage device, geographical position of the charging station and/or technical data or information on a current position of another charging station. The data transmitted from the vehicle to the charging station is selected from a group consisting of an identity of the vehicle or a vehicle owner, data of payment between the charging station and the storage device, amount of transferred energy, energy transfer time duration, energy transfer frequency or time for starting of the energy transfer process. An independent claim is also included for a system for wireless transfer of electromagnetic energy.
