The transducer has a rotor (R) placed between a transmitting electrode (SE) and a receiving electrode (EE). A transmission signal generator (SG) is connected to the transmitting electrode for transmitting a periodic signal to the receiving electrode. An evaluation circuit (AS) converts the signal received by the transmitting electrode into a voltage signal. A synchronous rectifier unit (SY) is directly connected with the transmitting electrode for rectifying the signal, and an amplifier unit (VE) having low impedance input works as a voltage transducer.
