The holder (1) has base body i.e. base disk (2), provided on a cylindrical housing of an electrical machine. A brush-quiver (6) slidingly accommodates a brush (7) for a commutator of the electrical machine. A cable guide guides a connection cable (12) to a connection point (11) to brush the brush-quiver. The base body and the cable guide are formed in a single piece. The cable guide covers a cable anchorage element i.e. dome (14), for winding a cable to achieve cable anchorage for the point. The connection cable is connected to a brush cord for contacting the brush via the joint. The base disk is designed as a synthetic shaped part.
