The machine has a plug-in connection unit (200) for force-transferring connection of two components with a bayonet fitting (210), which includes an axial distance limitation unit (220) to avoid an inadvertent opening of the bayonet fitting. The axial distance limitation unit includes a radial securing unit (300) i.e. deformable and/or extendable unit, for radially securing the axial distance limitation unit to prevent accidental release of the limitation unit. The securing unit includes a fixing unit (310) on one of the components on which another component is attached. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an electrical machine.
