The system (100) has a data acquisition unit (120) to determine current state of a vehicle. An operating system (110) executes an application with a graphic user interface (GUI) (190-1), where the GUI comprises a number of elements (195-1-195-M, 197-1-197-L, 199-1-199-K) and incorporates application information (185-1-185-N) over the elements. A control unit (130) selects the elements of the GUI to be displayed in the GUI of the application, where the selection is dependent on the determined state of the vehicle and the information incorporated over the elements. The operating system is a Microsoft(RTM: American multinational computer technology corporation) operating system. The state quantities of the vehicle are a speed of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a machine-readable memory medium comprising a set of instructions for enabling a method for performing vehicle information and/or entertainment system.
