The method comprises the steps of detecting devices (2) of the computer system (1), the determination of unequivocal identifications (3) for each detected apparatus (2), the permanent storage of the unique identifiers (3), the determining a usage right quota (a) and a usage right demand (b) as well as the release of at least one application function on the basis of a comparison of the usage right quota (a) with the use of right required, (b).The present invention also relates to an autonomous right management system and a device for such a right management system.
