Friction clutches for dual-clutch used for coupling e.g. crankshaft of internal combustion engine of motor car with countershaft, have linings fixed with counter and/or pressing plates, where thickness of disk is less than that of plates
The clutches (12, 16) have clutch disks (24, 30) arranged between counter plates (28, 34) and axially-movable pressing plates (26, 32). Each clutch disk transmits torque between one of the counter plates and one of the pressing plates. Two friction linings (36, 38) are connected with the counter plate and/or the pressing plate, respectively. The clutch disk, the counter plate and the pressing plate have axial thicknesses in a friction region (40) of the friction linings. Thickness of the clutch disk is less than thickness of the counter plate and/or the pressure plate. An independent claim is also included for a dual-clutch for coupling a drive-side input shaft with transmission-side output shafts.
