The insulating panel (16) comprises functional layers which are extended in parallel to center plane (20) to form a common edge (18), such that a bevel (19) is formed along the edge which is orthogonal to center plane. The bevel is extended from front side of panel to rear surface. The gradient angle of bevel of edge is set to 45[deg] . The edge is mirror-symmetric about the center plane. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for sizing insulation for placement on building; and (2) a method for equipping building such as house.
