The arrangement has a flexible deformable sealing element enclosing an opening (7) of a car body (9). A dome tape (10) is arranged in a region of the sealing element and provided with a coupling element. The dome tape is formed on the sealing element in co-operation with another coupling element that is arranged on a fabric cover, where the sealing element includes a guiding region i.e. guiding lip, for the dome tape. The guiding region is formed such that one of the coupling elements is arranged at a safe distance from the sealing element. An independent claim is also included for a tailgate arrangement for a motor car.
