The passenger car (1) has a rear seat row (2) and a luggage compartment (7) that is arranged at the seat row. The luggage compartment has a luggage compartment floor (8). A flap (13) is mounted in the luggage compartment floor or luggage compartment of lateral bounded side walls (11) of the passenger car. The flap is extended in transverse direction of the luggage compartment. Units are provided for establishing the flap in another end position. A small trunk area (14) is formed between the rear seat row and the flap. The small trunk area separated form a large trunk area (15).
