The device (2) has a housing body (6) comprising a retainer (8) in or at which a locking- and/or unlocking part (10) is arranged. The housing body completely or partly forms an encapsulation for a multi-function apparatus (4). The housing body is partly arranged at a portion of the encapsulation of the apparatus. A locking- and/or unlocking body and a covering element are made of metal, wood, ceramic and/or plastic. The wall element of the motor car is a side door and a tailgate of the motor car.
