The regulator (26) has a lock mechanism (46), an activating element (48) and a locking element (50) that are coupled to each other. The transport carriers (14) of a conveyor (10) are arranged in downstream of the activating element to selectively move the lock mechanism into release configuration and locking configuration. The movement of the transport carrier to the upstream is prevented when the locking element is in the locking configuration, and the movement of the transport carrier to upstream is performed when the locking element is in release configuration.
