The production plant (1) has air conditioning apparatus (6) for cooling a room (4) such as switchgear cabinet of production plant. The waste heat of a machine tool (2) is used by cooling device (8) designed as absorption chiller to cool the cabinet. The hydraulic components of the machine tool are adapted for relatively high temperatures.
