The method involves forming a film component from a film (1). The film is transformed by deep-drawing and/or stretch-forming so that the film comprises an approximately angular recess, which represents channel geometry of the film component. The transformed film is sectionally coated with a coating by a cathodic dipping coating process. A material for reduction of transition resistance and/or corrosion protection and/or a material for enhancement of heat balance are applied as the coating on a surface of the transformed film.
