The cabinet (10A) has a cooling space (14) for storing refrigerated goods (16), and a cooling circuit (18) for cooling the cooling space. A control device (28) is connected with a weighing apparatus for direct or indirect determination of weight of the refrigerated goods. The control device controls cooling performance of the cooling circuit based on the determined weight of the refrigerated goods. The weighing apparatus comprises a force transducer (34) i.e. spring body force transducer. The control device stores calibrated unloaded weight of a refrigerated cabinet unit.
