Spectral luminescence standard for the near-infrared region

The present invention relates to a spectral luminescence standard which comprises bismuth in a light-transmissive inorganic matrix material and emits light in the near-infrared region when irradiated with excitation light, bismuth acting as a near-infrared luminescent emitter. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a spectral luminescence standard and to a calibration medium which has the spectral luminescence standard in or on a carrier material.
