The method involves providing helper-time data (26) that represents starting and ending of a maximum time interval for accomplishing voluntary activities of a helper person. Helper location data (22) representing positional data of the person is provided. Task time data (16) and task location data (12) are provided. A task is assigned (S120) to the person if a time interval for accomplishing auxiliary activities of the task is smaller than the interval, and a distance between the positional data and modality for accomplishing the activities of the task is smaller than a given path value.
