The grandstand seat (2) has seat frame (24) fixed with swingable seat plate (22) and swingable seat back (21), and folding foot (23) mountable on a base plate (25), for hingedly supporting the seat frame. The folding foot comprises a switch device, so that the grandstand seat is convertible into seat position and storage position. The switch device is actuatable by switching device tool which is insertable into a switching recess (23a) of the folding foot to actuation.
