The assembly has a component i.e. disk (2), for retaining and/or guiding sliding elements i.e. cylindrical or box-shaped pistons (3a, 3b) and in drive connection with a housing (1), where the housing is formed in a curved or circular shape. The component is designed as a main part of a piston and as a stroke and/or rotary piston-compressor for a working medium, where force is effectively applied due to centrifugal force of the sliding elements such that the component executes linear or curved strokes. The sliding elements form a volume changing a space in the component. The pistons are formed as a symmetrical thinner cylinder and a symmetrical thicker cylinder respectively.
