The method involves introducing target contour (2) of the recess to extend sectional contour (5). The recess is introduced in the metal sheet according to the section contour. The section line is provided with several concave and convex curves (6) that are combined with each other. The radius of concave and convex curves is smaller than radius of circular target contour of recess in the metal sheet. An independent claim is included for cutting tool.
