The module (1) has a photovoltaic unit (3) with multiple layers and spaced from an edge (13) received on a support and bonded over a resilient adhesive mass (15) that extends between an external periphery of the photovoltaic unit and an inner periphery of the edge of a module frame (5). A top face of the photovoltaic unit lies freely away from the support. The top surface of the module frame is in a horizontal arrangement of the photovoltaic module at same height as a top of the photovoltaic device.
