The motor has a rotor (62) arranged at a shaft, and a stator (61). An impulse generator (63) is arranged at circumference of the rotor and provided for converting continuous electromagnetic radiation in an infrared spectral region into a pulse sequence of the electromagnetic radiation during movement of the rotor, where the pulse sequence stays in direct connection with relative speed with which the rotor is moved relative to the stator. A terminal box (66) connects an electrical wire with optical waveguides (67, 68), where the generator consists of carrier material (69) e.g. metal or plastic. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electrical drive (2) an impulse generator.
