The method involves supplying a brake disc base portion (2) from an aluminum material. A wear-protection layer (3) is prefabricated with dimensions according to striking surfaces of the brake disc base portion. The wear-protection layer is formed on the striking surface of the brake disc base portion. A tumbling tool is led with a hard material contact point across the striking surface of the brake disc base portion. The wear-protection layer is tumbled such that the positive interconnection of the wear-protection layer with the brake disc base portion is enabled. An independent claim is included for device for implementing method for establishing brake disc.
