The valve (1) has a valve element (36) arranged in a valve chamber (3) that is defined by a box-shaped valve housing (2), which includes a flat sealing element (42). A propulsive coupling existing between a drive portion (25) and the valve element allows relative input movements (44) in the form of relative translational movements (44a) and tilting movements between the drive portion and the valve element. The valve element is linearly displaceable to perform working movement independent of a bending transducer (12) by a linear guide unit (37) relative to the housing.
