Perforated plate (1) of a granulator for a molten material, comprises at least one melt passage or channel (5) extending in the granulator, and at least one nozzle opening (3) arranged in the granulator. The respective nozzle opening includes a respective melt outlet region (6), where at least a surface is formed, which prevents the solidification of the molten material by a temperature affecting-functional material arranged in the granulator, which is heatable by charge movement. An independent claim is also included for providing the molten material from the above mentioned perforated plate of the granulator for subsequent granulation into individual granules.
