The energy accumulator is operated according to the principle of communicating pipes such that the energy accumulator uses the energy from the compressed air and water and from water guiding accumulator unit (1) that is open upwards and water guiding accumulator unit (2) that is closed upwards. The energy accumulator has a compressor (3) with valve (4) and a pipe nozzle (8) with shell valve (5) and a fan turbine with a generator (7). The compressor is placed in the head region and the pipe nozzle is placed in the bottom region. Both the accumulator units are connected with each other.
