The arrangement has an electric motor drive and a hydraulic drive, where a drive force is introduced to a rotating conveyor element by a drive shaft. The drive force is generated by two drives acting differently in their energy conversion principle. An energy storage is provided to each drive, which secures the self-sustaining operation of the drive for the minimum time period which results from the temporal minimum functionality prescribed in safety regulation for the application of the pump.
