The refrigerator and/or freezer has refrigerant circuit that includes evaporators for cooling refrigerated compartment. Several compressors are connected to the evaporators through suction line, so that refrigerant from the evaporator is flown to the compressor during refrigerant cycle. A measuring unit measures correlated parameters of temperature (T) in the refrigerated compartment. A regulating unit causes switching ON and/or OFF of the compressor for the purpose of temperature control within the refrigerated compartment in response to the measured value from measuring unit.
