The orthosis (1) has several link portions which are hinged together. The drive devices (8-15) are provided for introducing positioning forces to link portions. Several link portions are connected to moving link chains (2-6) by joint portion (7). The link portions of link chains are fitted with pivotal levers to discharge actuating forces to link portions. The angular position of link portions is adjusted such that pivoting levers are mounted to link portions of link chains.
