The device has a glovebox (2) that opens on the bottom. The glovebox is movable through the installation module drawn-out into removal position. The installation module with its upper side forming the process chamber is coupled with a hoisting- and locking device in a gas-tight manner. The hoisting- and locking device is arranged in the trolley. The hoisting- and locking device engages the installation module and brings into the sealing position with a lower edge of the glove box. A housing (3) is fastened to a supporting frame (5). An independent claim is included for a method for removal of a building module from a laser sintering- or laser-melting device from a machine body of the device.
