The coupling e.g. double-torsion coupling (1), has a connection flange (6) connected with a power source, and another connection flange (6') connected with a shaft. An intermediate piece (4) is arranged between the flanges and connected with the flanges by brackets (10, 10'). Bolts (5, 5') linearly displace one of the flanges opposite to the intermediate piece in a direction and linearly displace another flange opposite to the intermediate piece in another direction, where the latter direction is aligned perpendicular to the former direction and stays on axes of the flanges. The intermediate piece is designed as a plate.
